I have been producing paintings for over a year under the pseudonym of the Wiki Artist.
My first series was called Painting 1. All the paintings in the series connect to two websites. The first site a flash based explanation of the work and the second is a wiki test page, where people can discuss the image and their impressions of it.
The wiki itself becomes the art work, a process of interaction where the democratic definition of the image can be mapped out over history. Drawing people's attention to fine art concerns about the relationship between words and images, as well as digital issues about the spread of the digital world and it's impact on all of our cultural experiences.
